We at Useful Lama Items, Inc. strive to prove quality Llama and Alpaca products and services to our customers that have no parallel. Our number one goal is customer satisfaction; including happy alpacas and llamas! Your comments, criticisms and new product suggestions are encouraged and welcome.
PRICING
We strive for price competitivemess. If an identical product is offered at a lower currently published price, we will make every effort to match that price. GOLD KEY CLUB pricing gives you the lowest prices in the industry on items that we feature. Prices are subject to change without notification.
SHIPPING
Every effort is made to ship your orders promptly upon receiving them. Items may be shipped OVERNIGHT ~ SECOND DAY AIR or THREE DAY SELECT at your request. Of course, added shipping costs will be passed along to you for these requests. If there is a question on whether or not your shipping preference can be fulfilled, please call us at 800-635-5262 and we will verify your request. And, we will do our very best to make certain your needs are honored.
Standard shipping & handling rates as of this time are based on dollar volume invested. There are exceptions to this scale. e.g. if you order 1 or 2 halters and a few leads and we know we can ship the items for less, such as put them in the mail for $6.95, we will do that and charge the lower rate for that transaction.
0 - $20 = $10.95
$21.01 - $74.99 = $12.95
$75.00 - OVER = $14.95
Certain items in our catalog require additional shipping charges above our standard rates. These items are listed in the printed catalog as well as online as needing additional shipping. Therefored additional shipping charges will be added to these items and applied to your invoice.
Oversized and overweight packages as well as parcels sent to Alaska, Hawaii and destinations outside of the United States are charged at actual costs. Although we try to ship using the lowest possible shipping rates in our industry, prices are subject to change without notice.
BACKORDERS
We make every attempt to stock heavily on all items featured in our catalog but back-orders may occur if sales exceed our expectations. Orders will no be held up awaiting back-order items if we can help it. You will not be charged additional shipping when a backordered item is sent separately from the bulk of your order.
RETURNS
We accept returns within 15 days of the purchase of your items and with prior approval. Please contact us at 1~800~635-5262 to notify us of your return. CD's, Videos and DVD's may be returned only if the seals on both containers are unbroken. Books may be returned for an exact exchange within 15 days of the date of purchase only. Custom orders, medications, used or damaged goods cannot be returned.
If an exchange is necessary due to our error there is no cost to you for the return or for shipping the replacement or exchanged item(s). Credits for returns do not include outgoing shipping charges. All charges on returns will be credited in the manner in which original payment was made.

METHODS OF PAYMENT
Major credit cards including VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER, AMERICAN EXPRESS & DINER'S CLUB are accepted. We also accept your personal check. E-mail orders are encrypted for your security. C.O.D. orders are accepted on most merchandise and carry an additional $15 fee.
A 1.5% interest per month (18% per annum) is charged on overdue balances. A $25 charge is assessed for Non-sufficient Fund checks.
MEDICAL DISCLAIMER
To the best of our knowledge, no medical products have been tested and approved for use with llamas or alpacas. All products offered in our printed catalog and online store have been adapted for use with camelids and are used solely at the owners discretion and risk. If there are any questions regarding the use of items for use with your llamas or alpacas, we recommend that owners consult with their veterinarian.

Whenever possible, we enjoy supporting the alpaca and llama communities through contributions of items from our catalog. Sometimes this is done by donating for silent auctions, 4-H Clubs or other fund-raising efforts. RECYCLED PRODUCTS (Getting Greener all the time!)
We use recycled materials whenever possible to pack and ship your orders. Shredded paper and documents are accessed from local businesses, newspapers are collected and reused and cardboard boxes are put back into service time and again! We do this in order to help ease the stress on our environment and in-turn drive down your shipping costs.
